The Town of Nobleboro’s Comprehensive Plan Update Committee is hosting a Public
Hearing on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. in the community meting room at
the Town Office to hear public comment on the Town of Nobleboro’s proposed 2021 -
2022 Comprehensive Plan Update. In accordance with Maine’s Growth Management
Act the stipulates that a community’s Comprehensive Plan be updated every 10 years
revisions to the Town’s 2007 Plan been in development for several years. A draft of the
final Plan is now complete and available for public inspection at the Town office and on
the Town’s Website (https://www.nobleboro.maine.gov/).
The public is invited to view a Draft version of the 2021 – 2022 Nobleboro
Comprehensive Plan Update and three Companion Volumes (maps, appendices and
community engagement) section by section, or in its entirety. The 2021-2022 Nobleboro
Comprehensive Plan binder is located within the Town’s website at:
Printed copies of the Plan are also available for review at the Nobleboro Town Office,
192 US Highway One, Nobleboro, ME, Monday through Thursday from 8 am until 4 pm.
A Public Hearing for the purpose of discussion the proposed Plan, responding to
questions and receiving comments will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 6;30
PM in the Community Meeting Room at the Nobleboro Town Office. Community
members will also be able to participate via Zoom. Shortly after the in-person gathering the Public Hearing will be available on-demand through Public Access LCTV Channel 7 (.https://lctv.org/watch/video-on-demand). The hearing will be recorded and archived for future viewing as well.

the proposed Plan can also be mailed to the Town Office C/O the Comprehensive Plan

hearing via Zoom. A Zoom link and Public Hearing agenda will be posted on the Town’s
website closer to the meeting date.
