What: The Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency (LC EMA) and LCRPC are partnering to offer a workshop on hazard mitigation planning and available FEMA funding opportunities for municipalities. Suggested attendees include local EMA officers, select board members, town managers and administrators,as well as other relevant town committees/volunteers.
Heather Dumais, State Hazard Mitigation Officer with the Maine Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), will be our guest speaker to discuss FEMA funding opportunities, including the upcoming BRIC grant round.
Towns are encouraged to bring the plans, project scoping, and projects they have listed in the Hazard Mitigation Plan so we can go through them and choose the ones eligible for the loads of money available.
